What does dry needling feel like?
Most patients feel little to no discomfort when the needle is inserted. A brief twitch response or cramping sensation may occur when the muscle is stimulated, followed by a feeling of release or relaxation. Mild soreness for 24-48 hours afterward is normal and similar to post-workout soreness.
